Dr Spero Theodorou Publishes Study titled “Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence: An Emerging Paradigm for Postoperative Patient Care”

We are proud to announce that bodySCULPT’s surgical director Dr. Spero Theodorou, MD, has published a new study titled “Nanotechnology and Artificial Intelligence: An Emerging Paradigm for Postoperative Patient Care”. The other authors of the study, which was published in Aesthetic Surgery Journal on 21 March 2023, are Daniel Del Vecchio, MD, MBA; Michael J. Stein, MD, MAS; Erez Dayan, MD; Joseph Marte, MD.

The study examined the feasibility of remote monitoring in postoperative cosmetic surgery patients. The authors reported that data collected using wearable nanotechnology can alert the surgeon in real time regarding the patient’s postoperative health status and prompt interventions for physiological disturbances.

A new study titled “Clinical Evaluation of Safety and Efficacy of Radiofrequency-Assisted Lipolysis on Breast Envelope and Nipple-Areola Complex Position” was published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: December 2022 – Volume 150 – Issue 6 – p 1200-1210.

Dr. Spero Theodorou (Plastic Surgeon, bodySCULPT NYC and consultant for InMode) is one of the authors of the study. This recent study,co-authored by Dr Spero Theodorou, evaluated the utility, efficacy, and safety of InMode’s BodyTite radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to address sagging breasts.
