Laser Liposuction Procedure

The sophisticated FDA-approved Smartlipo Triplex workstation uses patented multi-wavelength (1440, 1064 and 1320 nm) technology to provide enhanced results. These wavelengths can be used independently or uniquely blended for effective fat removal and improved tissue tightening. This laser lipolysis treatment involves the following steps:

  • A local anesthetic is injected into the treatment site
  • A very thin cannula is inserted into the skin through a small incision
  • Laser energy is directed at the fatty tissue to liquefy the fat cells
  • The liquefied fat is gently suctioned off

The procedure can remove both superficial and deep fat from almost all parts of the body – the neck, jawline, arms, breasts, “bra fat”, abdomen, “love handles”, “saddle bags”, inner and outer thighs and knees. While liquefying the fatty tissue, the laser energy also stimulates collagen production which results in firmer skin.
