Dr. Christopher Chia of bodySCULPT®, an established plastic surgery practice in NYC, is a featured speaker at the 14th annual Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Symposium being held June 6-10, 2018 at the Bellagio, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Dr. Chia will speak on “RFAL for Arm Tightening” at 5.30 pm on Friday, June 8 in Tower 3. The Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Symposium is one of the top aesthetic conferences in North America and attracts leading aesthetic specialists.
Dr. Chia has done extensive research on radiofrequency assisted liposuction (RFAL). In fact, Dr. Chia and bodySCULPT®’s founder Dr. Spero Theodorou are the inventors of the Scarless Arm Lift, an innovative procedure performed using the BodyTite device. Their new study, published in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal in May 2018, highlights the benefits of using RFAL technology for aesthetic body contouring.
RFAL using the unique BodyTite device provides superior soft tissue contraction and excellent skin tightening effects, making it an ideal option to address saggy skin the upper arms. The procedure involves controlled delivery of radiofrequency energy to heat the entire soft-tissue matrix and melt the fat, simultaneous aspiration of the liquefied fat, and coagulation of the adipose, fibrous, and vascular tissue.
